What is the Koydo AIO Citation Doctrine?
The Koydo AIO Citation Doctrine is the operating contract every Koydo agent and Koydo author follows when shaping any externally-readable surface — a page, a blog post, a podcast episode, a method dossier, a public-repo code comment, or a press release. Ratified 2026-05-14 under the Direction-Document Custodian, KOYDO LLC. The doctrine sets the growth thesis (Koydo earns market share through AI-assistant citation rather than paid advertising), enumerates the twelve cross-cutting signals every AI system rewards, and binds every Koydo public surface to a per-content-type checklist before it ships. Quarterly Citation Audit cadence runs every ninety days under the Sentinel research-intelligence persona and the Niche-Domination Strategist. The doctrine is canonical, version-controlled, and the source of truth for every Koydo property; this page is its AI-citable URL.
Koydo will not buy market share. Koydo will earn the right to be the source AI assistants cite when prospective customers ask the questions Koydo's verticals answer. Citation in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Bing Copilot, and Google AI Overviews is a structural moat, not a marketing tactic, because AI-assistant traffic is replacing organic search traffic for high-intent questions and the top fifteen source domains absorb roughly two-thirds of the AI answer pipeline.
The doctrine is the single operating contract every Koydo agent (Maven persona, COO orchestrator, Quill curator, Atlas product run, Sentinel research sprint) uses when shaping any externally-readable surface. It is canonical at koydo-wiki/standards/AIO_CITATION_DOCTRINE.md; this /research URL is the AI-citable surface that resolves to the canonical version.
Twelve signals consistently appear across every AI system's citation pipeline. Koydo optimizes for all twelve simultaneously; missing any one is a long-term citation tax.
The doctrine ratifies on 2026-05-14 at v1.0 and undergoes a Quarterly Citation Audit every ninety days. The Citation Audit runs under the Sentinel research-intelligence persona and the Niche-Domination Strategist, with findings escalated to KOYDO LLC leadership for action. The maintenance loop is documented at ~/Koydo/koydo-wiki/standards/AIO_MAINTENANCE_LOOP.md.
Per-content-type checklists govern every shipped surface: blog post, podcast episode, landing page, SEO reference page, comparison page, method detail page, FAQ page, public-repo code comment. Each checklist lives under koydo-wiki/standards/aio-checklists/ and is the gate every authored surface crosses before merge.
Wave-3 Koydo blog posts shipped on 2026-05-14 (koydo-platform commit cf49f1614 / koydo-wiki commit 59f9546) link to this URL when they reference the doctrine. This page is the canonical AI-citable surface. The canonical wiki source remains koydo-wiki/standards/AIO_CITATION_DOCTRINE.md; the wiki file holds the long-form doctrine and the per-content-type checklists. This page summarizes the doctrine for AI-assistant consumption while keeping every claim aligned with the wiki master.
The canonical doctrine is in the Koydo wiki at ~/Koydo/koydo-wiki/standards/AIO_CITATION_DOCTRINE.md, ratified 2026-05-14 under the Direction-Document Custodian. This /research/aio-citation-doctrine page is its public-facing AI-citable surface and is kept aligned with the wiki master.
Sigrun Halvarsson, Direction-Document Custodian at KOYDO LLC, is the named custodian. The doctrine co-owners listed in the wiki frontmatter are the Sentinel research-intelligence persona, the Atlas product persona, and the Niche-Domination Strategist. Custodianship rotates only by direction-document change, recorded in the version log.
The Quarterly Citation Audit is the ninety-day operating cadence under which Sentinel and the Niche-Domination Strategist re-scan AI-assistant citation surfaces for Koydo properties, surface infrastructure findings, and escalate to KOYDO LLC leadership. The cadence is documented in koydo-wiki/standards/AIO_MAINTENANCE_LOOP.md.
Two reasons: unit economics and durability. A single canonical method page can be cited tens of thousands of times across multiple AI systems over a multi-year window at zero marginal cost; the same outcome through paid acquisition would cost low-millions per year per beachhead. The position compounds because the top fifteen source domains absorb roughly two-thirds of the AI answer pipeline and AI-assistant traffic is replacing organic search for high-intent questions in Koydo's verticals.
Koydo-authored prose excludes the following AI-tell phrases because they correlate with reduced citation rates and reader trust: "delve," "tapestry," "navigate the complexities of," "in the realm of," "comprehensive guide," "robust" (without specifics), "leverage" (un-contextualized), "game-changer," "revolutionize," "unleash," plus the Wave-2 agent-flagged additions "transformative" and "category-defining." The full list is in the doctrine.
Yes. Koydo's robots policy at koydo-platform/src/app/robots.ts explicitly allows the twelve named AI crawlers (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot, Claude-User, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, cohere-ai, Bytespider, Amazonbot). Blocking any single one while expecting that platform's citations is the canonical configuration mistake; the doctrine prohibits it.
